The Trenton Generals are proud to announce Jeremy Hefele as their field manager for the 2021 ACBL season.
Jeremy was named interim head coach at Cairn in November 2020, replacing Phill Shallenberger. He is guiding the Highlanders through a memorable first season that has included a COVID-shutdown and loss of home field due to construction in the middle of the season.
Coach Hefele joined the Highlanders coaching staff in 2018 and has worked extensively in developing the Highlanders' pitching staff while also coordinating the recruiting efforts. "I am thrilled for the opportunity to continue the upward trend of Cairn baseball,” Hefele said. “I love working at Cairn because of the opportunities I have as a coach to impact the players in our program.”
Hefele played four years at Delaware Valley University and was named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll each of his four years as a starting pitcher. Hefele graduated from Delaware Valley University in 2018 with a B.S. in Business Administration and is currently pursuing his MBA at Cairn. He is serving as a part-time administrator in the school’s Athletic Department while pursuing his degree.
